Local Places - Clayfield CopseThe Copse is up at the top east corner of Caversham Park Village, bordered by Kiln Lane at its northern edge, and it's popular with all sorts of folks. The footpath/bridlepath on the copse's eastern edge (by the side of the small reservoir there) is almost always very, very muddy but that little problem-ette aside, there are good walks to be had starting/finishing at the car park off the side of Caversham Park Road just near the Copse. (You can always cut through to Copse to avoid the mud.) You can put together a decent loop that includes Playhatch if you're keen - nothing wrong with a pub stop-off half-way around! |
