Local Places - Mapledurham Playing Field

'Mapledurham Playing Field' may be its name but in truth it's more a part of Caversham Heights. (The main access is off the Woodcote Road, on your left as you head out of town.) It's not enjoyed the happiest of histories - basically, it's suffered from seemingly deliberate neglect by Reading Council - but it's still a valuable, and surprisingly large, green space.
